Works Department – 15th Finance Commission

As per government resolution No. Panvia-2020/P.No.59/Finance-4 dated 26 June 2020, the 15th Finance Commission was implemented with funds divided 50-50 between tied and untied grants. Of the sanctioned grant, 80% is for construction at Gram Panchayat level, 10% at Panchayat Samiti level, and 10% at Zilla Parishad level. For 2020-21, the first installment was distributed, and further tied/untied funds are handled as per guidelines. Funds are to be spent on “AmchaGaavAmcha Vikas” (Our Village Our Development) projects prepared by Gram Panchayats.
