Works Department – PESA 5% Fund Scheme

In Jalgaon district, 32 PESA Gram Panchayats across Chalisgaon, Yaval, and Raver talukas receive direct funding based on tribal population. Funds are used for: (A) Basic infrastructure (offices, health centers, Anganwadi, roads), (B) Implementation of Forest Rights and PESA Acts (training, fisheries, land development), (C) Drinking water supply, (D) Wildlife conservation, water conservation, eco-tourism, etc.
