The objective of the Saksham initiative
To empower women and children.
To bring about positive changes in the areas of health, nutrition, education, child rights and women empowerment.
To provide equal opportunities to women and children by bringing about behavioural change in the society.
To reach out to beneficiaries of government schemes and help them to utilize them properly.
What is Saksham Kit?
The concept of “Saksham Kit” is used under this initiative. This kit includes —

In short, the Saksham Kit is a set of information materials, nutrition tools and training tools required for the empowerment of women and children, for raising awareness about their health, education and rights and for skill development.
